Picutues of another two-stroke amp by Alex
I haven't posted in ages, but Alex from Bucharest has been following the blog and finished his first two-stroke in a very nice enclosure. Thanks Alex for sharing your pictures and supporting my blog. Great first build man!

Hi Ken,
Thank you for your nice words and for helping me out while I was building my little amp. What can I say. I absolutely love it. And it seems the more I love it, the more my neighbors hate it.
Concerning the changes to the original layout, here they are:
1. I chose to build it with one power tube (6L6) at Dave Hunter's suggestion. 2. I added a standby switch. 3. I used Ken's suggestion of adding two 100ohm resistors to kill the filament noise (thank you, Ken!). 4. I installed only one output jack, which can work at 4 and 8ohm. 5. I used a 40uF filter cap, although Dave Hunter now recommends a 20uF cap. It was too late when I noticed that and I didn't have a 20uF available cap.
That would be all. If you have any questions, please write me at alexandru_voicu@yahoo.com. I would love to help.
When I originally started this blog, the order of the posts were reversed. This made it easier to follow my progress from day 1 to present. Now the posts are in typical blogger fashion with the most recent post by date listed first. Go back to the archives to follow the posts in order, or search the blog for specific topics, issues or keywords.

Alex
2 20uF caps in parallel would make a 40uF.
I love the look of your amp.
